The PDA-R (round front panel) and PDA-Q (square front panel) are swirl diffusers with fixed delicately stamped, radially arranged blades. The square diffuser PDA-Q may be perforated in two different variants. The blades of the variants Q1 and Q2 are slightly less delicate in their perforation. The front panel is mounted by a central screw.
VZ-ARThe tube diffuser VZ-AR consists of a longitudinally welded jacket tube with lengthwise arranged slots with integrated air guiding nozzles in form of double boomerang profiles with rectifier blades. The possible amount of parallel slot-rows is mainly limited by its dimensioning. The connection of single tube diffusers to a string is accomplished via a spigot with lip seal, alternatively with METU-flanges. The tube diffusers are designed for visible installation and fulfill the highest of architectural and ventilation demands. The exhaust air variant consists of a tube diffuser with a longitudinally welded jacket tube with a round VZ-AR-AL cross section with cross to the longitudinal axis punch-outs. The dimensions of the models are determined depending on the exhaust air volume.
AKK-TIEThe AKK-TIE chilled beam unit consists of two halves that are mounted via bayonet suspension around a VZ-AR tube diffuser. Each side is equipped with two heat exchanger rows and thusly enables comfortable air conditioning in a laboratory or other settings with a high cooling load. The energetic advantages of water as a medium for load removal and the fluidic support for the draft-free introduction of supply air with lower temperatures are being used optimally.
SMCThe round flow rate measurement nozzle SMD consists of a tube body with centrally positioned measurement holes for measuring the differential pressure as well as a perforated flap with position indicator for adjusting flow rate mounted in a plastic bearing. The measurement nozzle is (depending on size) suitable for use in flow rates from 50 m³/h to ca. 8000 m³/h and adjustment of duct sections as well as occasional measuring and monitoring of flow rate.
SPIDue to its fluidic characteristics the iris diaphragm SPI is very well suited for adjusting and monitoring the air flow in round air ducts. The iris diaphragm is equipped with two pressure measurement connections through which the flow rate can be determined via a connected differential pressure gauge. The flow rate is proportional to the root of the monitored pressure difference and a resistance factor k. The k-factor depends on the configured free flow area and is readable on the diaphragm.
