PFG Low velocity diffuser

The PFG is a low velocity diffuser with a cuboid design whose rectangular perforated front plate is mounted to a connecting unit with a round or square spigot (horizontally or vertically mounted). The removable front plate consists of the front perforated plate, a honeycomb rectifier and a second perforated plate. On request, the entire front can be wrapped in frame profiles (models PFG-SI and PFG-SK).

Function and Effect

Through the interaction of the interior distribution elements with the perforated front plate with honeycomb rectifier the air flows evenly throughout the whole diffuser surface. The (for low velocity diffusers) usual low to medium air velocities in combination with subnormal temperatures lead to, due to the density differences, the air gravitating towards the floor and creating an evenly spread sea of fresh air. At heat sources the air rises to the ceiling area as a result of the convection.
